Lula Goce’s work tends to draw from the public to explore the intimate, with solitary actions linked to a disturbing living nature.
In this mural of great dimensions we can perceive a struggling feelling between opposite poles, where fears, phobias and other monsters arise from a dark portrait which is at the same time serene and reflexive, and it has the forms of the ancient classic culture. Griffins, chimeras and strange creatures emerge from the chest of the main character. They remind us the lights, shadows, and halftones that we need to find balance on our vital paths.
