As she usually expresses in her work, in which the characters have the main weight in the composition, Lidia Cao creates in this mural a dreamlike atmosphere in which expressive faces function as psychological portraits that acquire a latent dramaturgy.
In this mural Lidia talks about the stolen childhood from a poetic and symbolic language. The one that originates when parents or guardians create a home environment that is not beneficial for the minds of infants, passing the problems on to the little ones in the house without realizing what they still are. Little people who are not ready to take on such responsibilities. Some deficiencies that will be reflected throughout their lives, forcing them to mature prematurely.
