Poland’s Natalia Rak is well known for her giant portraits in a very colourful, detailed style close to dreamlike and almost surrealist worlds.
She left her mark in Carballo in the 2016 Rexenera Fest with the large mural entitled “I missed you…”, where the artist represented a direct image that is a conceptual departure from previous works, as she takes us into a more romantic path within her trajectory. This mural is a love story represented in a single frame, which pays tribute to those old films from the 40s and 50s that show two lovers embracing tightly and are about to kiss when the dramatic tension reaches its highest point. A hug sheltered from the rain, an iconic and universal image.
