- Laura Tova (Laura Tova)
A big bear that seems to come out of the wall in 120, Vázquez de Parga street, is Laura Tova’s mural main feature. Its title, Amanecer (Dawn) , refers to the beginning of life, originally the word meant “to love the beginning” every day. The water has a strong presence in the mural and it is a symbol of life while the white bear is purity. The geometric elements refer to nature within the universe, where geometry is the origin.
The artist’s work, both illustrative and narrative, stands out for the way it integrates the drawing with the wall´s irregular texture, which maintains its original appearance. So much so that the bear seems to be coming out of the wall to greet the new day.
