The artist focuses the bulk of her work on illustration or watercolour, but she explores other fields such as collage, photography and, of course, murals

We continue to introduce you to the artists that are going to create new pieces of street art for Carballo during the celebration of this new edition of the Rexenera Fest. Now we are talking about Marija Tiurina, an illustrator from Lithuania currently residing in London. She has more than ten years of experience in the field of Commercial Art and Design and with brands like Apple, Saatchi & Saatchi, Disney, Wacom, Computer Arts, Microsoft… on her resume.

She herself states that illustration and watercolors are the main objects of her art, but she also goes out of those fields to play with collage, photography, sculpture and mixed media works of art. The variety of projects she works on range from advertising, to children’s print books, to games, conceptual art, online illustration… and, of course, muralism.
