Carballo’s urban art was on tour! On the weekend of February 15th to 17th we were promoting our “open-air” museum in MIMOC, the II Leisure International Exhibition that took place in Expocoruña. In this case, we provided information and material about the urban art project Derrubando muros con pintura, and about the Rexenera Fest thanks to Diputación de A Coruña, that left us space on their stand. There, we were able to make our project known to people, as well as our walls and all the activities that can be carried out around them.

In addition to sharing information throughout the weekend, two of the artists who have already left their mark in Carballo performed live demonstrations of their work, allowing the visitors to see firsthand the process of creating a work of urbanart. They were Sokram y Nana who in different days left a small scrap of their work. The first, has left already in Carballo O lapis do graffiteiro; and the second has created two paintings: Ofelia and A eira das meigas.

MIMOC is a fair that for three days accomodates all the activities and novelties of the world of leisure in a playfuland atmosphere. Food trucks, workshops, lectures, sporting activities, musical performances and artistic proposals are just some of the things that can be found at the fair, which has held two editions so far.
