Carballo’s walls: among the best in the world
Carballo, once again, becomes known throughout the world thanks to its urban art project. The web and application Street Art Cities, dedicated exclusively to collecting urban art projects around the planet, has singled Carballo’s initiative to include it among the best graffiti in the world. Street Art Cities website geolocates a selection of murals placed throughout the globe. Its objective is to share these places so that all urban art lovers can visit them. The application refers to 15 thousand murals in 271 cities in 66 different countries, including the 75 you can visit in Carballo.
In addition to collecting the location, the application gathers all kinds of data and curiosities about the paintings and the users themselves can provide more documentation. This system is now available for both Android and iPhone:

The presence of Carballo, along with two other Galician cities such as Ferrol and Ordes, in the recommendations of the web and the application has generated interest, so that Derrubando muros con pintura has appeared in written media such as El Español, or in the Telexornal (tv news in Galician TV).
