Tooltip Text Arxentina
The Argentinian artist Hyuro, who lives in Valencia, is well known for her paintings loaded with message and symbolism, with a “very powerful social charge”. Through her work, she establishes a link between the work and the public, with the aim of confronting the spectator with her work. In her ongoing search, Hyuro uses the wall as a mirror and it is through this process that the paintings rescues the echo of the conversations she had with herself. Her work is intimate and very personal. Her universe is disturbing and seductive. And her language, sincere and close.
She took part in the Regenera Fest of 2016, creating the mural Morriña on Pazo da Cultura building. She died in November 2020 at the age of 46, leaving an exceptional work characterized by being linked most of the time to the figure of women.
