Cestola na Cachola* is defined as a non-profit cooperative which works mainly in the fields of painting and promoting a social economy where people, rather than profit, matter. They make illustrations, paintings and reproductions, murals, designs, and they organise workshops, always from a social perspective.

They also design prints for their “ethical fashion” line (with Fair Trade criteria) because they believe in the need for socially-responsible clothing.

*in Galician «cestola» is a colloquial way for basket, and “cachola” means “head”.
