Antonio Taracido, aka ATaracido, was born in Ferrol and he makes a living as a High School teacher. He defines himself as a self-taught artist with a multidisciplinary style. For many years he attended engraving, serigraphy and photography courses at the Centro Internacional de la Estampa Contemporánea (CIEC) ( International Center for Contemporary Engraving) in Betanzos (Galicia).

Antonio began working with oil, acrylic, engraving and serigraphy and he is currently focused on photography, especially night photography. He has taken part in both solo and collective exhibitions with several artistic groups and he has also participated in several editions of the Xosé Manuel Eirís Photography Contest, which is held in Carballo.
